IT’S the most wonderful time of the year – with the new Flat season kicking off while there is still plenty of the jumps action to savour.
Aintree is our main focus for what promises to be an excellent Grand National. Returning champion Noble Yeats is fresh from a cracking run in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, plus there’s Delta Work and Galvin from the Cross-Country Chase and another Festival winner in Corach Rambler.
To whet the appetite for the big race, Nick Townsend has spoken to his trainer Lucinda Russell who is hoping to take the prize back to Scotland for the second time.
