The price is collapsing around MAGNIFICENT BEN but with Tom Scudamore in the saddle I am expecting a big run. He was only just denied at Lingfield last time out but the step up in trip here is hopefully going to suit and if it does, a mark of 84 looks well within his reach.
Later on the card at Hereford, MINNIEMUM will have to reverse the form with the favourite but I think she might be able to. She was a tad disappointing last time at Ludlow but an early mistake shuffled her back further than where she wanted to be and a sharp move down the back meant her finishing effort was tame. Henry Daly drops her back in trip today which isn’t guaranteed to suit but she is definitely better than a mark of 99 so she rates an interesting bet.
