The form of LADY MALARKEY’s last race looks strong after the winner has since gone in again in impressive fashion. The pair of them looked well handicapped and I think it may turn out to be true. The handicapper left the selection on the same mark and that could prove lenient come 1.35 this afternoon.
I thought RISK D’ARGENT shaped well last time at Chepstow and if he comes on for the run then he should go close in an open maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter. Alastair Ralph’s horse was a good bumper horse last year and I suspect he will turn out to be a tidy horse in time. At 33/1 he certainly looks worth a punt.
