All of the top National Hunt yards will be cranking up the gears in the coming weeks as they prepare to target their stable stars at all of the top races. I have highlighted below some of the runners who have caught my eye early on in the season where better things surely await them.
Purple Mountain was the beneficiary of a last flight fall by the unfortunate San Salvador in the Grade Three Joe Mac Hurdle at Tipperary. The race over two miles was run on ground described as yielding.
