NOVEMBER heralds the start of quieter times here in Newmarket now the turf Flat season is at an end but trainers still have to get all the yearlings broken in and ridden for the first time. Most trainers like this all to be done by Christmas then the young horses are left alone till the middle of January to settle down to their new training routine.
