MASAR MAY HAVE CLASS TO LAND DOUBLE

Charlie looks ahead to the Guineas…and picks out some others that have caught his eye

Masar was an impressive winner of the Craven Stakes at Newmarket’s opening three-day meeting and the Charlie Appleby-trained colt is only 5/1 at BetVictor to follow up in the 2000 Guineas next month. The last horse to do the Craven/Guineas double was Haafhd back in 2004.
Many of the Appleby string appeared hard-trained for their reappearance and it will be interesting to see if Masar can find the necessary improvement to land the colts’ classic next month.
