Connections are set to decide on the future of Some Plans with a trip to Cheltenham in March now on the agenda.
The seven-year-old romped to victory in the Sky Bet Supreme Scottish Trial Novices’ Hurdle at Musselburgh on Sunday, taking care of The Grey Taylor by nine lengths.
It was the son of Winged Love’s second triumph of the season following a victory at Southwell back in November last year.
Tom George‘s charge was second at Prestbury Park in December and, after an impressive display north of the border at the weekend, the Gloucestershire handler hinted that he will next be seen at the Festival.
“I’ll sit down and have a chat with (owner) Roger Brookhouse and see where we’re going to go with him. We haven’t been through that one yet,” he said.
“I wouldn’t have thought there were too many other options for the time being but to go to Cheltenham. I’m pretty sure he’ll go there in one direction or another.”
