Willie Mullins says connections are pondering whether to supplement Limini for the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The six-year-old impressed as he cruised to victory ahead of Gordon Elliott's Apple's Jade at Punchestown on Wednesday, in what was her first start since last April.
Limini claimed the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at last year's Festival and has been tipped for success at the OLGB Hurdle.
However, Mullins has suggested that he and owner Rich Ricci are likely to discuss a shot at the Champion Hurdle.
The Carlow-handler did the same for Annie Power 12 months ago as she went on to claim the race after success at Punchestown and admits a repeat move could be on the cards.
Mullins told the Irish Independent: “I haven't really discussed it with the owner but it (the Champion Hurdle) is certainly something that has to be thought about.
“She has lots of pace in the way that she works.Two miles or two and a half miles really makes no difference. I was delighted with how Wednesday worked out.”
